Carrots contain vitamin A—important for healthy sight

Carrots are one of the richest sources of the antioxidant vitamin A, which is important for both healthy eyesight and skin. But that’s not all—they also provide a good source of dietary fiber—an important nutrient highlighted in the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans as being a nutrient that American’s are not getting enough of.
