The Green Giant Valley Visit: Inside the corn-grading room

From August 16 to August 18, 2011, Green Giant hosted a group of bloggers in Le Sueur, Minnesota, in the valley where Green Giant has been growing vegetables for more than 100 years. The purpose of this Valley Visit was to teach the group about Green Giant’s long history of farming and some of the innovative vegetable-growing techniques that the company has developed and utilized over the years.

 

In this video, Kate Gallagher from Green Giant research and development explains what happens in the corn-grading room and Andrea Millay of Mommy PR gives her stamp of approval to Extra Sweet Niblets Corn.

I just finished a bag of frozen niblet corn expiry date best before 23 Mr. 2012 and I found so many Brown pieces that it was quite disgusting. I have been a loyal customer of Jolly Green Giant products for nearly 45 years and I was very upset by all the brown corn which of course I threw away.
